Our service • Your futureWHERE TO START
Many veterans are not looking for a big program. They are trying to solve one real problem: treatment, paperwork, an appointment, a confusing answer or support they have only just heard about.
VCC starts with the situation in front of you, not with a system label. From there, we help work out what may be relevant and who is best placed to help.
You are struggling with your mental health and want to understand what support is available or who you can speak to.
You have an injury or ongoing condition and want to understand the practical support around it.
You have heard support may exist, but you do not know the criteria, provider or pathway.
You have received conflicting information from different people, Facebook groups or social media and still do not have a clear answer or next step.
THE VCC DIFFERENCE
Sometimes it begins with a painful knee, an eye test, a mental health concern, weight-management support or a letter that makes no sense.
VCC is a coordination centre: a calm, central place to ask the question, understand the options and work out what comes next. The first step is clarity, not a sales pitch.
One conversation. A clearer picture. The right next step.
THE FIRST CONVERSATION
You only need to take the next useful step. We will explain the path before asking you to move forward.
Start in your own words. You do not need the right terminology, a diagnosis or a folder of documents.
We listen for the immediate problem, what you have already tried and what a useful outcome would look like.
We help make sense of the likely pathway. If VCC is not the right place, we will say so and point you in the right direction.
